The Glory of Team Rocket revealed!

We've finally gotten news about the next highly-anticipated Japanese set - The Glory of Team Rocket! The set will be released on April 18th and is the counterpart to Heat Wave Arena - with the two Japanese sets making up its English counterpart, Destined Rivals, which is expected to release May 30th in English markets.

Unfortunately, it seems unlikely that we'll see the return of "Dark ..." Pokémon, but we are being treated to more Trainer companion cards! Only one full art card, Team Rocket's Meowth, has been revealed so far, but it looks like we're in for more Trainer ex cards as well.

There are 98 cards in the main set and sources speculate that there will be approximately 130 cards after secret rares are accounted for.

To celebrate the release, Pokemon Center Japan is releasing a line of merchandise specifically for the occassion: including Team Rocket themed clothing and TCG accessories.
