Chinese Gem Pack 101

One of the newer sets to come to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is the Simplified Chinese Gem Pack. It was released in January 2025 in mainland China and contains 15 packs of 4 cards each.

Of course, there are cards exclusive to the set itself. These four chase cards include trainers with their Pokémon from the Horizons series and include a special stamp on the card itself:

But that's not all! Most cards in the set will also feature reverse-holographic effects, including an Energy holo, a Poke ball holo, a glitter foil, a prismatic foil, or a master ball holo.

To make the set more appealing, they've pulled some favorite cards from other sets, including Paldea Evolved, Paldean Fates, and the Paldea Adventure chest as well.

With this Chinese-exclusive pack, Pokémon has also assigned new rarities for this set as well. Of the 4 cards in each pack, you can expect to receive 3 commons or uncommons with 1 rare or higher card:
